Vancouver is one of my favorite cities in the world. If I could, I would move there in a heartbeat. It's clean, beautiful, full of great restaurants, and the city sits on the water with a background of mountains. The city is filled with outdoor activities just a walk out the door.
Rent a bike and take a tour of the city. Start at Yaletown and make your way to Granville Island. Stop at Public Market and pick up some picnic items to take along with you. Ride around Stanley Park and stop at one of the beaches along the way around the park. Ride through the downtown area to see the Olympic Rings from the 2010 Winter Olympics before ending your ride with a well deserved meal.
Capilano Suspension Bridge and Cliffwalk is one of the top attractions in Vancouver. It's well worth the visit, but it also drives flocks of tourists. For a less crowded but equally beautiful, head to Lynn Canyon Park.
At Jericho Beach Park you can get spectacular views of the Vancouver skyline.
